Preserving the Lone Star Legacy

For over a decade, I have had the great honor of carrying the steadfast morals, ethics, and storied culture of Texas across the globe on Discovery Channel’s Naked & Afraid. Navigating nine grueling survival challenges—stretching from the frozen Alaskan wilderness and the dense Amazon basin to the predator-filled plains of Africa—I spent more than 300 days enduring physical pain, starvation, hypothermia and extreme isolation. Throughout every trial, I never wavered in my resolve to represent our great state with a smile and a spirit of integrity. My commitment to these tests was always driven by a desire to demonstrate the authentic grit, resilience, and work ethic that define what it means to be a Texan. Through TheTexasTruth.org, I am now pivoting that same intensity toward stewardship, utilizing my platform to champion local charities and cultivate a profound respect for our shared ancestry within the next generation. I am dedicated to safeguarding the vibrant tapestry of Texas history through research, civic engagement, and impactful charitable initiatives. I'll work tirelessly to ensure that the noble legacies of those who came before us continue to serve as a vital moral compass for the youth of our state.
